On our portrait days I've taken photographs of babies as young as a week old and some two months younger than that! (Maternity portraits)

They can be difficult, unresponsive, grumpy or even asleep and have a nasty habit of trying to get you to photograph them with their dinner down the front of their clothes!

But if you get just one great portrait from a half an hour in the studio, you've succeeded in making another set of parents happy.
